Frequently asked questions
What is Audexa?
Audexa is a royalty payout facilitation service. It is designed for audiobook and digital content creators who receive income from platforms (for example audiobook marketplaces or distributors) and want a simple, organised way to route those funds to a payout destination that works for them.
Do you work for ACX, Amazon or any platform?
No. Audexa is independent. We do not represent or work for ACX, Amazon, Audible or any other platform. Your agreements with those platforms stay between you and them. Audexa only helps you route funds that you choose to send to us.
How do I send money to Audexa?
You usually send funds to Audexa via PayPal. At the moment you can use:
• PayPal link: paypal.me/AUDEXA
• PayPal email: payouts@audexa.xyz
Send the full amount you want to route through Audexa in the same currency you receive from your platform (for example USD if your royalties are in USD). After sending, submit the transfer form on this website so we can match your payment to your details.
Which currency should I use?
For most creators it is simplest to send in the currency you receive from your platform (for example USD, GBP or EUR). Audexa applies the 10% service fee to the amount we receive in that currency, and the remaining 90% is prepared for payout. If a conversion is needed, banks or payment providers may apply their own exchange rates and fees.
What is your fee?
Audexa charges a flat 10% service fee on each transfer. For example, if you send 1,000 in a supported currency, our fee is 100 and the remaining 900 is earmarked for your payout. The 90% amount is an estimate before any separate fees or exchange rates charged by banks or payment providers.
Are there any other fees?
Payment providers such as PayPal, banks, wallets or crypto services may charge their own fees or apply exchange rates. Those are separate from the Audexa fee and may reduce the final amount that arrives in your destination account.
How do I fill in the transfer form?
After you send your royalty funds to Audexa, go to the Submit transfer page and fill in:
• Your contact details (name, email, country).
• Book or project title, platform and royalty period (optional but helpful).
• Currency and total amount you sent to Audexa.
• How you sent the money and any transaction/reference ID.
• Your preferred payout method (bank, online wallet, crypto, other).
• The payout account details where you want to receive your funds.
• Any notes, plus an optional royalty statement or screenshot if you wish.
Why should I upload a statement or screenshot?
Uploading a royalty statement or payment screenshot is optional but recommended. It helps Audexa match your transfer to your royalties, keep clear records, and support any checks we need to perform.
What happens after I submit the form?
When you submit a transfer:
• Your details are stored securely in our log.
• You receive a confirmation email with the amount, fee and estimated payout portion (before any bank/provider fees).
• Audexa reviews the transfer, confirms receipt of funds and prepares your payout to the destination you provided.
• When the status changes (for example to “Processing payout” or “Paid”), you receive another email update.
How long does payout take?
Payout timing can vary depending on:
• When your funds arrive to Audexa.
• The payout method (local bank, international bank, online wallet, crypto, etc.).
• Weekends, public holidays and time zones.
• Any compliance checks required by payment providers or banks.
We always aim to process payouts as promptly as reasonably possible once everything is clear and confirmed.
Which payout methods can Audexa use?
Audexa can prepare payouts to:
• Bank accounts (local or international, depending on availability).
• Online payment wallets in supported regions.
• Crypto-compatible routes where appropriate and agreed.
• Other methods on a case-by-case basis.
You should always provide full, accurate payout details so your transfer can be processed smoothly.
Will I get a statement of what Audexa received?
Yes. Your confirmation email and the transfer confirmation page show the amount you reported to Audexa, the 10% fee, and your estimated 90% share before provider fees. If you need a summary of multiple transfers, you can contact us and we can generate an overview from your records.
Who is responsible for taxes?
You remain responsible for reporting and paying any taxes due on your royalty income in your country of residence. Audexa does not provide tax advice. However, we keep records of your transfers which can help you and your advisor understand your cash flows.
How is my data stored?
Transfer details are stored in a protected CSV file on our hosting environment, and any proof documents are stored in an uploads folder. We also send you email confirmations for your own records. For more information, please read the Privacy Policy.
How can I avoid high PayPal fees when I send funds?
PayPal may apply transaction fees depending on your account type, currency, region and the payment method you choose. To avoid unnecessary fees, we recommend sending your royalty funds using PayPal’s fee-free personal payment option, when this option is available in your region.
